Johnson Controls is dedicated to helping those affected by Hurricane Irma rebuild and return to the lives they had before this tragedy. We’re offering a rebate* program to all counties in the Florida FEMA Disaster Area (DR-4337) and Georgia FEMA Disaster Area (DR-4338). This rebate program can be used for any YORK®, Coleman® HVAC, Luxaire®, Champion®, Fraser- Johnston®, Guardian® or Evcon™ product listed below. Rebates are organized by product efficiency:
Residential Package Equipment: $125
Air Handlers: $50
Click the button above to access our claims process website. Reach out to your local contractor to begin service. You can apply the rebate up to 60 days from installation, if you qualify. This rebate is available on applicable systems for homeowners and apartment complexes installed from September 1, 2017 to May 31, 2018.
Guardian® and Evcon™ GAW14L systems are a cost-effective, high-efficiency option for replacing hurricane damaged HVAC units. These systems provide a simpler alternative versus a complete indoor and outdoor system or a major retrofit. This means residents affected by Irma have the opportunity to replace outside units rather than an entire matched system, saving time, money and ultimately helping them recover from the disaster. All GAW14L systems are designed, engineered and assembled in the United States and come with a full, 5-year parts and compressor warranty.
We strongly encourage you reach out to local HVAC contractors to have your HVAC equipment inspected, even if it currently seems operational. Damage done to your equipment may take some time to become apparent.

Johnson Controls has many employees and countless customers who live and work in the affected areas. While we as a company donate $500,000 every year to the American Red Cross as part of our Annual Disaster Giving Program, we realize the current situation calls for a more direct effort by our company. Through our partnership with the American Red Cross, Johnson Controls has set up a microsite for employees to contribute to the recovery.
