All-America Executive Team

Johnson Controls gets top marks from investors

Johnson Controls has been named to the 2013 All-America Executive Team by Institutional Investor magazine.  Johnson Controls was also considered a “Most Honored Company” based on top rankings in the consumer – auto and auto parts category:

 

  • Best Investor Relations - first place (nominated by the sell side)
  • Best CFO - second place - Bruce McDonald, executive vice president and chief financial officer (buy side)
  • Best Investor Relations Professional - first place - Glen Ponczak, vice president, global investor relations (sell side)
  • Best Investor Relations Professional - third place - Ponczak (buy side)

 

Johnson Controls has been honored for best investor relations program and best investor relations professional in its category each year since the rankings debuted four years ago. McDonald and Ponczak have received nominations for four consecutive years as well.

 

To select the members of the 2013 All-America Executive Team, Institutional Investor magazine surveyed buy-side analysts, portfolio managers and sell-side analysts at security firms and financial institutions across the United States to name the best chief executive officers, chief financial officers, investor relations professionals and companies with the best investor relations programs. More than 1,520 buy-side individuals and almost 1,260 sell-side analysts participated in the survey.

 

Of the 1,928 U.S. companies that received votes, 145 were named “America's Most Honored Companies” for receiving a total of three or more ranked positions in two or more executive categories.
