Top Employer in China

Institute recognizes Johnson Controls for human resources practices for second year

Johnson Controls, a global diversified company in the building and automotive industries, is one of only 36 companies selected as a “Top Employer” in China for 2013 by the Corporate Research Foundation (CRF) Institute. The CRF has named top employers since 1991 as part of its effort to identify companies that are leaders in fostering a successful and productive work environment for employees. The CRF is a joint initiative of academics, business journalists, trade associations, researchers and international publishers that offers assessment and acknowledgement of human resources practices by employers.

“Being recognized as a top employer in China by the Corporate Research Foundation for the second year in a row is a great honor,” said Stephen A. Roell, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Johnson Controls. “Our success depends on the valuable contributions our employees make every day in China and around the world.  We strive to attract outstanding employees and provide them opportunities to grow and develop so they may deliver the best products, services and solutions for our customers.”

Johnson Controls and other recipients of the Top Employer award were selected for excellence in categories such as pay and benefits, training and development, working conditions, company culture, and working conditions.
