We nurture an environment in which everyone understands and values the similarities and differences among our employees, customers and communities.

We offer ongoing workshops to help employees embrace and realize the benefits of a diverse workforce. Our people also benefit from opportunities to work in other countries.

Equally as important, Johnson Controls is dedicated to working collaboratively with historically underutilized suppliers to strengthen our supply chain and expand our business base. In 2009, we increased the number of diverse suppliers from 300 to over 420, representing more than 50 product and service categories.
