If you think you have what it takes to be a CareerConnect school, the first step is to complete an on-line profile about your program. Please follow this link:
On-line Profile
We will review the data from all potential partners to see how well your program/college meets our expectations. From there we evaluate our hire needs, the availability of local talent (union and non-union), branch willingness to participate and geographic need to implement a CareerConnect partner school.
Assuming that all conditions are favorable, Johnson Controls then will set a date to meet with school leaders and position CareerConnect. If the school is amiable to launching CareerConnect next steps generally include:
Touring the lab and meeting w/program faculty
Conducting a cursory review of curriculum
Identification of program deliverables that need to be incorporated into the custom program
Developing a Letter of Intent that describes each parties responsibilities
Obtaining signatures
Launching/announcing the program
