Johnson Controls Engineering Cooperative program trains and develops co-op students in all aspects of engineering, providing hands-on experience in preparation for a rewarding career at Johnson Controls.

Over a period of two to five years, engineering students from colleges and universities alternate between work terms at Johnson Controls and school terms until graduation. During work terms, co-op students rotate among different areas of Johnson Controls – AG.
As a co-op student, you will experience a variety of projects and tasks that will be challenging and rewarding. Some of your assignments may include spending time in a manufacturing environment, warranty labs, or product development. Johnson Controls considers you as a member of the team.

Our expectations of you as a co-op student are high. We will push you to help you realize your potential in your current work assignment. We expect you to contribute, participate in meetings, product reviews, team building – everything a full-time, permanent team member would do. But it’s not all work at Johnson Controls. We encourage you to spend time relaxing and having fun. Throughout the co-op term, you will participate in group lunches, golf outings, picnics, and much more. You will make new friends and meet people who will help make you successful at Johnson Controls.
