In addition to maintaining your image standards, Johnson Controls also will proactively propose new lighting technologies that save energy, increase product life and provide MRO sku reduction. All lighting maintenance programs are visible 24 hours a day and 7 days a week through the Johnson Controls Lighting Services online Partner Gateway. 


Approach & Programs
After a thorough review of your needs, Johnson Controls will create a Maintenance Program that helps you achieve your goals. The most common Maintenance Programs include the following:

    • Scheduled Maintenance 
      We will work with you to create a maintenance schedule that ensures all of your locations are consistently visited and maintained. All failed lamps and ballasts will be replaced and the fixture cleaned during each visit. While on site, our technicians can also address other lighting system maintenance and control support for both interior and exterior lighting systems.
    • Group Relamping 
      A very cost-effective method of maintaining lighting systems is to use a Group Relamping approach. We will utilize rated life information of your lighting components and relamp an entire space during a single visit. This method will lower your average unit product and labor costs. Again, a master schedule will be maintained to ensure all locations are group relamped at the appropriate intervals.
    • On-Call Service
      Occasionally a need for immediate service can be required. In these instances Johnson Controls is available on an On-Call basis. Our dispatchers receive your request and quickly deploy a Johnson Controls lighting technician to your site for maintenance services.
    • Exterior Lighting
      Johnson Controls will also work with you to develop an exterior lighting maintenance strategy. A combination of the above program types can be utilized to deliver the best maintenance solution to keep your buildings and parking areas well lit.
    • Large Facility On-Site Contract Maintenance
      When a site is large enough to justify one of more on-site lighting technicians, it may be most cost effective to outsource that function to Johnson Controls. Group Relamping is also another option for such an environment.
