The Network Integration Engine (NIE) is the focal point of the Metasys N1 migration solution that brings a new generation of technology from the Internet, Information Technology (IT) and enterprise level global communication to existing Metasys N1 building automation systems. The NIE is a Web-based network component that uses Ethernet IP communication technology to apply modern Internet technology to existing Metasys N1 networks.
