Sustainable for All - Creating a greener workplace for the multi-generational workforce
The way we work is hurting our environment. At the heart of the problem lies the office, where leaving lights on, buildings empty, ICT and air-conditioning running is no longer acceptable. With customers demanding sustainability, employees expecting it and governments legislating for it, companies are looking for ways they can reduce the carbon footprint of their workplaces.
Johnson Controls is working with the Royal College of Art (RCA) Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design to understand what steps can be taken to engage people in creating more sustainable workplaces and workstyles.
Are you a Campaigner, a Housekeeper, a Pragmatist or a Libertarian when it comes to being sustainable in the workplace? Participate in the survey to find out.
The research findings will be presented, in both creative and qualitative forms, at the RCA galleries during this 2012 autumn’s London Design Festival and at Corenet London 18 September, 14:30 – 15:30.
Our Engagement Toolkit will also be launched in September 2012 at the London Design Festival and Corenet London.
