IAOP Ranks Johnson Controls in List of Top 100 Global Outsourcing Firms For Seventh Year Running

IAOP ranking 2012

Johnson Controls Global WorkPlace Solutions (GWS) has been ranked for the seventh consecutive year on the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals’ (IAOP) Global Outsourcing 100, which recognizes the world’s best outsourcing service providers.

IAOP Chairman, Michael Corbett said: “In today’s economy, it is more important than ever for outsourcing end users to be able to easily identify and select the right company for their outsourcing needs. The Global Outsourcing 100 is essential for companies who are looking for proven leaders and rising stars of the outsourcing industry.”

Johnson Controls GWS was 16 on the list. The ranking is based on the size and growth of a company, along with customer references and company recognition, in which Johnson Controls scored highly. The independent panel of judges particularly acknowledged Johnson Controls’ executive leadership, global presence and company certifications, where the company was awarded maximum marks in all three categories.

Johnson Controls GWS, Vice President and General Manager, Guy Holden, said: “Being listed as one of world’s top companies in the outsourcing sector for seven consecutive years, shows our people work hard and are dedicated. The outsourcing market is growing rapidly as more clients from a variety of industries outsource building management and real estate to a single service provider globally. I am very excited for what the future of the industry holds for Johnson Controls GWS.”

In 2011, the IAOP’s Globalization Today magazine also recognized Guy Holden in its "Powerhouse 25", which listed the top professionals driving the global outsourcing industry..
