JFMA Forum success
Young Kim, Business Development Director of Johnson Controls, recently presented at the Japan Facilities Management Association Forum, ranking third out of 60 speakers by attendees. Kim discussed corporate facilities management (FM) trends in response to globalization and the actions that facility managers can take to succeed in a competitive global market.
Due to increased globalization, many Fortune 1,000 corporations make decisions on a global scale to effectively compete in an international market. FM is no exception and has to be integrated and effectively measured by corporations, regardless of geography.
Kim presented the latest trends of FM globalization and integration with several case studies and different model approaches by vertical markets. The discussion then shifted to Japanese global corporations, identifying specific initiatives and skills leaders and facility managers can apply to achieve global success.
