RTF Evaporators
Factory assembled air cooling evaporators and fans mounted on a rigid base framework and enclosed with an insulated panel enclosure.

Assembly is designed to sit on a roof curb that is internally open to the cold room below. Options include air discharge plenum and factory mounted and wired fan motor starters.
  • 4" or 5" urethane foamed-in-place wall panels
  • Stucco-embossed painted steel exterior
  • Large service doors with heated seals
  • Cooling coil sized for the application
  • OSHA guards at fan inlet
  • Fan motor service rail
  • Interior maintenance lighting with switch and 120V service outlet
  • Refrigerant and drain lines extend through the insulated enclosure

  • Insulated Panels: Foam-in-place urethane insulation with steel interior and exterior.
  • Exterior Finish: Painted
  • Insulation Value: 4” panels are R-32, 5" panels are R-41
  • Enclosure Access: (2) freezer style access doors provide access to the air inlet and outlet sides of the cooling coil
  • Unit Base: Welded frame fabricated out of formed 10 gauge galvanized steel
  • Interior Floor: Air inlet opening of the base is covered with grating to create a walk-on surface. Fan panels are designed to be a walk-on surface for the leaving air side of the cooling coil
  • Cooling Coil: Standard evaporator is stainless steel tube / aluminum fin
  • Drain Pan: Separate, stainless steel, double sloping, insulated with defrost coil as required
  • Fans: Direct drive cast aluminum blades, TEFC P.E. motors
  • Unit Wiring: (1) convenience outlet outside each service door and (1) interior light immediately inside each door.
  • Optional items: Removable cooling coil access panel in the enclosure, Insulated roof curb, Air discharge plenum for locating inside the cold room, Factory mounted electrical panels for the fan motors
