LaZerWeld Heat Exchangers

Frick® Semi-Welded Heat Exchangers

Frick LazerWeld Heat Exchangers
The Frick® LaZerWeld, semi-welded plate heat exchanger line includes 13 models ranging in capacity from 115 tons through 4000 tons, designed for use with ammonia, halocarbon, and hydrocarbon refrigerants.

Frick® LaZerWeld, semi-welded plate heat exchangers include a plate pack which is a series of welded metal plate pairs with portholes for the flow of the two fluids between which heat can be transferred.

The LaZerWeld plate pack is assembled between a fixed carbon steel head and a movable carbon steel follower and compressed by tightening bolts for pressure retaining capability.

The channels formed between the LaZerWeld plate pairs are arranged so that separate fluids can flow through alternate channels resulting in heat transfer between two fluids.
