MRC-19 - Controlling Hotel Guest Room Comfort with Direct Digital Control

The Modular Room Controls MRC-19 Digital Thermostat is an expandable, multi-purpose, high-quality Direct Digital Control (DDC) smart thermostat designed to control virtually any Fan Coil Unit (FCU) or Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) system found in hotel guest rooms.

 

It provides precise temperature control and automatically determines proper valve and fan speed settings, eliminating the need for manual switching between heating and cooling modes.

 

The MRC comes with five relays as standard and can be equipped with an on-board Infrared (IR) transceiver and Passive Infrared (PIR) occupancy sensor. Coupled with a magnetic door switch, the MRC-19 becomes the brain for a highly effective energy management system for guest rooms.

The features of the MRC, including a central electronic locking system, a motion sensor and a do-not-disturb system, contribute to improved operating efficiencies and lower operating costs.
