Enrolling in a Johnson Controls Training Institute (JCI) course is easy.

Simply complete the steps below to enroll and get ready for an eye-opening learning experience with the Johnson Controls Training Institute!

Enrollment Process

A. Fill out our on-line Application for Enrollment, download the Enrollment form from this site, or utilize the form from our Training Catalog. Note: We have an on-line enrollment form but it must be completed, printed and faxed to the Johnson Controls Training Institute.

B. Make the necessary arrangements for payment. Payment can be made using Visa©, MasterCard©, American Express©, or check (make payable to Johnson Controls Training Institute). Credit card numbers can be provided on the form.

C. Send your Application for Enrollment and payment to the Johnson Controls Training Institute Registrar by Fax: 877-403-6625 or by Mail: Johnson Controls Training Institute, 507 E. Michigan Street M-45, Milwaukee, WI 53202. You will receive a letter from the Johnson Controls Training Institute Registrar confirming enrollment into the class of your choice. If space is not available in the class of your choice, you will receive a phone call from our Registrar, and the opportunity to select an alternate class.

D. Make your travel arrangements and hotel accommodations. Each student is responsible for arranging his/her own travel and hotel accommodations. Wherever possible, the Johnson Controls Training Institute does offer special room rates at facilities convenient to our learning centers. Details on these facilities can be found under Johnson Controls Training Institute Locations. Make certain to mention Johnson Controls when making hotel reservations at our preferred hotels to ensure you receive the discounted rate. Also ask about transportation to the Johnson Controls Training Institute as some of our hotels provide shuttle service. Note that hotel reservations made through a travel agency do not qualify for discounted rates.

Tuition Savings

Tuition fees, which include all necessary classroom materials, are listed with the class descriptions. Travel and lodging arrangements are the responsibility of each individual who enrolls. The Johnson Controls Training Institute also offers the following discounts:
  • An early payment discount of $100 for each student’s tuition if full payment is received at least 30 days before the class starts. This can be combined with the multiple student discount.
  • A $150 multiple student discount applies if two or more students are registered at the same time, for the same course, on the same date, at the same location, and full payment made at time of booking. Use the two or more student price shown on the course description only if you meet the criteria.
  • 5-Pack or 10-Pack Training Vouchers. Enjoy savings and flexibility by ordering a pack of vouchers good for any classes without enrolling specific students at this time. A 10-Pack is $13,260. A 5-Pack is $7.030.
  • Personal Passport 3-Pack. This pack is valid for a specified individual for any three classes. Good for one year from date of purchase. A Personal Passport 3-Pack is $3,735.

Daily Agenda

Plan to arrive between 15 and 30 minutes early on the first day of class. This will give you plenty of time to check in, receive your materials, and become acquainted with the facility.

Classes begin promptly at 8:00 AM each day, and finish at approximately 4:30 P.M. One hour is provided for lunch, which should be ample time. Many times, students will decide to go to lunch together as a group. Since our Training Institutes are located in major metropolitan areas, locating a nearby restaurant should not be a problem. Ask your instructor for a recommendation!

On the last day of class, classes typically end at either 11:30 A.M. or 3:30 P.M. Please make your travel arrangements accordingly.

Substitutions and Cancellation

Should anything prevent your ability to attend a course, a substitute student is always welcome at no additional fee.

A refund for a course not attended will be issued only if you notify the Johnson Controls Training Institute at least 14 days prior to the start of the course. You will be liable for the entire course fee if cancellation is made less than 14 days prior to the start of the course. Contact the Johnson Controls Training Institute Registrar for substitutions or cancellations at 1-800-524-8540 or 414-524-4286.

Johnson Controls reserves the right to cancel any of its courses. Registrants will be notified at least 10 days prior to the scheduled course start date and will receive full refunds.

CEU

The Johnson Controls Training Institute awards Continuing Education Units (CEU) to students who successfully complete Institute-sponsored courses. The CEU is a nationally recognized unit of measure for continuing education and training programs that meet established criteria.

Successful completion is based on attendance and the ability to demonstrate the intended learning outcomes. Students will also receive a certificate of completion. The Johnson Controls Training Institute maintains permanent records of course completions and can issue students transcripts upon request.

ENROLLMENT FORM
