Panoptix™ Gets Real

New video blog shows - with real-life scenarios - how to achieve the most value from Johnson Controls' new Panoptix building efficiency solution

We're rolling out a new video blog (vlog) to complement our launch of the Panoptix™ solution.  The vlog, Hitting the Mark, includes a series of short videos delivered by Mark Hendrikson, director of operations for installation support, Panoptix, that explain how the Panoptix solution helps customers in real-life situations. "The videos set up a scenario in which a maintenance call is made by a building occupant," according to Hendrikson. "In the videos we show step-by-step how, in that scenario, the Panoptix solution can help restore occupant comfort, decrease service time and increase productivity."

 

The Panoptix solution includes our new suite of cloud-based applications that leverages the data provided by the Metasys building management system (and other industry building management systems), applies advanced analytics to benchmark equipment and building performance and energy consumption, monitor systems health, report on the overall performance of the systems and identify opportunities to increase performance and reduce energy requirements.  A Software as a Service (SaaS) subscription offering, Panoptix eliminates the need for large initial capital investment and gives customers the ability to focus on their most critical priorities by choosing only the applications they require.

 

To support the new Panoptix solution, an online community of peers and experts is already in place, giving users the ability to share best practices, news and resources.  And now, we've added Hitting the Mark - which seems to be hitting the mark. The three short, real-life-scenario videos have already been viewed nearly 2,000 times!
