This sophisticated center, designed and equipped by Johnson Controls, monitors critical Pentagon building systems and commands thousands of control points. It also allows building managers to control indoor environmental conditions and improve building operational efficiency.

Johnson Controls provides many Metasys® building automation technologies, as well as mechanical services on this massive Army base.

The US Capitol Police, through the John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center, secured our services to evaluate, design and install a state-of-the-art security management system. It interfaces with numerous new and existing components across 16 subsystems including access control, video surveilance and recording, multiple intrusion detection systems, communications networks, and screening systems.

Our YORK brand screw chillers provide reliable air conditioning for the home of the president and the offices of the Executive Branch.



A seven MW dual-fuel cogeneration plant we designed and constructed has improved base energy supply security and reduced costs by $6 million per year. The revenue stream from this project has funded many additional base upgrades including a 1.2MW photovoltaic system, three central chiller plants and other critical infrastructure improvements, saving an additional $1 million annually, and improving the quality of life for the thousands of Marines housed here.
