Where We Recycle

LEAVING OUR FOOTPRINT ON THE INDUSTRY. NOT THE ENVIRONMENT.

Johnson Controls Battery Recycling Plant

We recycled our first battery in Germany in 1904 – four years before Henry Ford introduced the Model T. We’ve come a long way since then.

Today, Johnson Controls has 50 manufacturing, recycling and distribution centers across the globe, with dedicated recycling facilities in Europe, North America and South America.  We employ world-class technology and global best practices – setting benchmarks for safety, health and environmental performance.
