Friday, May 18, 2012 -  Volkswagen of Mexico held their eleventh traditional awards ceremony for excellence from their suppliers, where Johnson Controls Power Solutions Mexico recieved the Volkswagen Group Award 2012.


In total 18 companies were awarded the Volkswagen Group Award 2012, which Volkswagen distinction in the North America Region recognizes the overall excellence in the performance of their suppliers, their collaboration, commitment and dedication during the previous year.


Each year several suppliers are proposed by a committee of the areas of Purchasing, Technical Development, Logistics, Quality Parts, Plant Engineering and Production of the Volkswagen plant in Puebla and for the first time also of Chattanooga, United States. Subsequently companies for suppliers that meet the above criteria are selected for the Volkswagen Group Award.
