Brian Kesseler

Vice President and President, Power Solutions

Career
Brian Kesseler leads the Power Solutions team worldwide, including all operating businesses, technology initiatives, strategy development and execution. In this role Brian represents the company in the advancement of energy storage technologies, the support of vehicle energy efficiency standards, and as an advocate for sound energy and environmental policies. Kesseler was elected a corporate officer since 2013 and is a member of the Executive Operating Team.

 

Brian previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer of Power Solutions and served for three years as vice president and general manager, Americas for Power Solutions. He also served in our Building Efficiency business as vice president and general manager, Service-North America, Systems and Services Europe, and Unitary Products Group.  Brian joined Johnson Controls in 1994 in the Automotive Experience business and has held leadership positions in all of our business groups. During his career, he has played a major role in driving business growth, continuous improvement, quality, and customer satisfaction. 

 

Education
Brian earned an undergraduate finance degree from Michigan State University and an MBA from Baldwin Wallace College. He serves on the Board of Directors for Special Olympics – Wisconsin and Marquette University High School.
