About Heliar
Heliar is Johnson Controls’ leading branded battery in South America, with two production plants in Sorocaba, Brazil and three distribution facilities in Brazil, Argentina and Venezuela. Heliar batteries are used in automobiles, trucks, and motorcycles. In 2007, Johnson Controls sold more than 2 million units in the automotive aftermarket, half of which were Heliar brand batteries.

Heliar Solutions
Heliar offers five types of automotive batteries for different power needs.

  • Heliar Free – For all types of vehicles. 
  • Heliar Taxi – Specifically for taxis, professional vehicles and vehicles adapted for liquefied natural gas. 
  • Heliar Racing – For automotive enthusiasts with high power demands, the Heliar Racing battery has the highest reserve capacity, longest lifespan and maximum CCA. 
  • HeliarFrota – Optimum performance for large trucks, buses and agricultural or industrial vehicles. 
  • Heliar Power Sports – Optimum performance for motorcycles and other sports vehicles.

  • Help Assistance – Heliar offers consumers 24-hour roadside assistance in case of electrical failure. 
  • Optimal Starting Power – Cutting-edge technology allows for maximum CCA. 
  • Leak-Resistant – Positive and negative grid are expanded to create minimal water loss. 
  • Vibration Resistance – 36 percent more weld through the partition allows for better vibration resistance than other batteries.
