The Environmental Leadership Program (ELP) is a signature Johnson Controls global philanthropy program that focuses the company’s values of environmental stewardship, leadership development and diversity to develop local youth and make a positive impact on local communities where we do business. The ELP engages hundreds of youth worldwide in summer volunteer projects that provide hands-on conservation experience and training to help students build their leadership skills, develop a strong work ethic and gain a personal sense of stewardship for the environment. The program takes place in Germany, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Participants in the program complete projects that range from environmental education to conservation work in parks and natural areas.
