Johnson Controls acquired York Air Conditioning & Refrigeration New Zealand Ltd in 2005 as part of the acquisition of York International. York in New Zealand was then predominantly serving the Industrial Refrigeration market and was itself born out of the earlier operations of Stal and Sabroe Refrigeration. Johnson Controls New Zealand continues to sell Sabroe and Frick products but has now expanded its range of activities to include the broader range of Johnson Controls products. Johnson Controls New Zealand is now recognised as a market leader in New Zealand for the supply of HVAC & process chillers and building controls products.
Johnson Controls New Zealand service all of New Zealand from a single office in Auckland. We employ a team of top class service technicians to help commission and maintain all the equipment we sell and in more remote areas, we either have technicians working from home or we partner with preferred service providers who receive special training and support to help ensure all customers who own/operate Johnson Controls products are well looked after. In recent years, the majority of major HVAC projects in New Zealand have used York chillers.
Most of the products we sell in New Zealand are sourced from one of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Wuxi & Guangzhou, China; Monterrey, Mexico; San Antonio & Waynesboro, USA; Manissa, Turkey or Nantes, France. We have important R&D hubs in USA, Europe and China as well as a Centre of Engineering Excellence in Mumbai which supports our sales & service teams in providing our customers with quality and innovative controls products and solutions.
Our key focus is on energy efficient, sustainable and reliable solutions resulting in low life cycle cost of ownership. If you require more information on our main offerings to the market, please contact:
