Johnson Controls attends World Economic Forum annual meeting
Johnson Controls is a proud partner of the World Economic Forum’s mission to improve the state of the world. Through our leaders’ participation, we actively engage in the international organization’s meetings and projects throughout the year to lead discussions on global issues and help drive key decisions in the industries we serve.
In December 2014, Johnson Controls achieved the highest level of participation and became a Strategic Partner of the World Economic Forum. Strategic Partners comprise a select group of 100 leading companies representing diverse industries and regions. Strategic Partners make a tangible impact on global issues and society by contributing to better policymaking, informing business decisions, sharing best practices and engaging stakeholders beyond commercial objectives.
An active participant, Johnson Controls Chairman and CEO Alex Molinaroli serves as Chairman of the World Economic Forum’s Automotive Governors Community to engage in conversations around macro trends that are revolutionizing the industry. He is also a member of the Forum’s Energy Steering Committee.
With our focus on workplace diversity, we stay heavily involved in the World Economic Forum’s Global Challenge on Gender Parity – Molinaroli is a trustee of the board and CMO Kim Metcalf-Kupres serves as an advisor. Other projects Johnson Controls contributes to include:
