2018 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson ControlsThe spectacular Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium served as a world-class setting for Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls. The smart, safe, sustainable and connected stadium is a one-of-a-kind sports and entertainment complex, profiled by Forbes as one of the “13 Game-Changing NFL Stadiums.” The stadium is outfitted with the latest technology from Johnson Controls and its partners, and is the first visible sign of why the Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village is “The Most Inspiring Place on Earth."

This fast and connected sports and entertainment venue boasts a future-ready, state-of-the-art network infrastructure designed to deliver speed and bandwidth.

In addition to the esteemed Class of 2018, more than 130 Gold Jackets (living Hall of Famers) returned to the Hall of Fame to be a part of Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls. Nowhere else are fans able to see and interact with as many Hall of Famers in one place, at one time, as in Canton during the annual celebration.

Big and fast (too bad we don’t play linebacker). With an internet connection that can handle 2 million social media posts with photos per game, fans were able to post to social media quickly and reliably.

Hall of Game Game, Aug. 2, 2018
The 2018 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls kicked off with the annual Hall of Fame Game on Thursday, Aug. 2. The Ravens made their first-ever appearance in the Hall of Fame Game while this year’s game marked the fifth time that the Bears played in the pre-season classic. The Ravens edged the Bears, 17-16.

Enshrinement Ceremony, Aug. 4, 2018
Members of the Class of 2018 (contributor Bobby Beathard, linebacker Robert Brazile, safety Brian Dawkins, guard Jerry Kramer, linebacker Ray Lewis, wide receiver Randy Moss, and linebacker Brian Urlacher) were formally enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018. The Enshrinement Ceremony was held at the spectacular Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton.

Concert for Legends, Aug. 5, 2018
Maroon 5, one of pop music’s most enduring artists and the 21st Century’s biggest acts, headlined the 2018 Concert for Legends on Sunday, Aug. 5 in Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. The GRAMMY® Award-winning multiplatinum powerhouse’s performance closed out the 2018 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls.

Johnson Controls and the Hall of Fame Village LLC (a partnership between the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Industrial Realty Group) entered into a historic 18-year agreement on November 18, 2016, to create the first sports and entertainment "smart city" that will carry the name Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village in Canton, Ohio.

For the Hall of Fame and Johnson Controls, this agreement represents shared values of honoring the past and building a future driven by innovation and creating comfort for everyone who comes to the Village to honor the legends who have played the game.

Under the terms of the deal, Johnson Controls is the "Official Smart City Partner" of Hall of Fame Village, which includes venues such as a virtual reality, state-of-art Hall of Fame Experience Powered by Johnson Controls. Additionally, the company is the presenting sponsor for the annual celebration in Canton each summer known as the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls.
