Thirteen hotels under China BTG Hotels (Group) Co., Ltd. to optimize equipment energy and operational efficiency

BEIJING, SINGAPORE – (September 15, 2015) –YORK® heating and cooling services will help BTG Hotels (Group) Co., Ltd. optimize energy and operational efficiency in 13 Beijing hotels over the next two years.

This service agreement between YORK®, a Johnson Controls brand, and BTG Hotels marks the first step in a strategic collaboration. As a public-listed company and market leader in China’s tourism sector, BTG Hotels operates over 170 hotels ranging from luxury properties to budget accommodations. In Beijing alone, BTG Hotels has 13 hotels of differing range and age with HVAC equipment from different suppliers.

BTG Hotels selected YORK® for its comprehensive and practical service plan that can cater to the wide range and mix of HVAC equipment in the 13 hotels. Optimizing the energy efficiency of the HVAC equipment will significantly improve the overall energy efficiency of a building. Also, high-quality service will prolong the lifespan of the equipment without compromising the comfort of building occupants.

“The company’s unique breadth of expertise enables us to provide practical, customized solutions for complex requirements,” said Wu Song, general manager and managing director of Building Efficiency China, Johnson Controls. “We have observed robust growth in our building management and service business. Now, with over 40 service branches and more than 1000 channel partners in China, our service network spans the whole country. Service to us is more than maintenance; it includes green building consultancy, energy saving performance contracts, and intelligent predictive analytics.”
