Johnson Controls Building Efficiency supports Kumamoto earthquake recovery
Tokyo, April 28th, 2016 -- Johnson Controls (NYSE: JCI) and Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning will donate 5 million yen (45K USD) through the Japanese Red Cross Society to assist the disaster victims and recovery effort.
In addition, we’ve begun employee’s donation at Japan’s Johnson Controls group companies. We also plan the support activities such as matching gift program which the company contributes the same amount of money as employee’s fund-raising and the donation of necessary goods, such as helmets.
We hope those affected will return to their normal lives as quickly as possible.
