Have your say on rising energy costs
Despite the trend toward sustainability, executives state that their need to decrease energy costs is greater than environmental concerns. This surprising insight is according to Johnson Controls Energy Efficiency Indicator (EEI) research carried out with 1,250 North American business leaders in 2007.
This year, the EEI research is going global and will gather views from European business leaders as well as those from North America. The survey can be completed by anyone with an interest in rising energy prices by simply clicking here.
The research examines the ways companies and organisations are responding to rising energy costs. In cooperation with the International Facilities Management Association and EuroFM the study looks at how environmental-economic issues drive investments in energy efficiency and evaluates the payback corporates expect from these investments.
The results of the 2008 EEI research will be announced during a world wide webcast on 14 April at 5.00pm (Central European Time). The webcast will include a short panel discussion, designed to give real life examples of how organisations deal with energy costs and approach energy efficiency measures. Global companies operating in different industries will also participate in the discussion.
