Employees at 1,000 company locations "sharpen customer focus"
What is Vision Week?
- Started in 2000, Vision Week is an annual event for 140,000 Johnson Controls employees – at more than 1,000 sites – to come together to learn more about the company’s Vision, Values and 10-year marker long-term goals. Vision Week is also an annual opportunity to thank and recognize employees for their dedication to the company’s success. The company is proud to invest in this time each year to further educate and engage our employees.
- Prior year’s topics have included: Company Values, Integrity, Employee and Leadership Development, Market Leadership, Customer Satisfaction, and Sustainability.
- Full employee participation in activities and discussions encouraged in every Johnson Controls location (125 countries), across all employee groups – office, plant/factory, remote, customer-embedded).
- Vision Week 2009 was held May 11-15 in most locations. Our operations in Mexico will celebrate Vision Week 2009 starting June 29.
Why was “Sharpen Your Customer Focus” theme chosen this year?
- Keys in on how all Johnson Controls employees can continually improve the value they provide to customers, both external to the company and within the company.
- Reinforces the company’s 124-year history on effectively serving customers.
- Supports Johnson Controls focus on bringing value to customers, especially in today’s business conditions. We believe this will help Johnson Controls become more globally competitive when markets improve.
- Emphasizes what employees can specifically do to further strengthen customer satisfaction.
