Guaranteed jobs for select students

Awarded to qualified first year students in HVAC/R Associate degree programs at CareerConnect partner schools

Johnson Controls is looking to fill over 3,500 new technician positions within the next three years and in an effort to meet these aggressive hiring goals, we have created the Future Hires Program. If selected, FHP students will receive:
  • GUARANTEED employment in one of six technical positions within Johnson Controls
  • Tuition aid to be used toward second-year education costs
  • Relocation assistance (if applicable)
  • Alignment with a Johnson Controls mentor to help the transition process
  • Company sponsored training and on-going career assistance/professional growth

In return students must fulfill a few requirements which include:

  • 2.5 GPA
  • 95% attendance record / 90% on-time record
  • Graduation from HVAC/R Association program within two years
  • Two year committment to Johnson Controls
 
Criteria for Consideration in the Future Hires Program

Be a first year student in an accredited HVAC/R Associate degree program at one of the following CareerConnect partner schools:
  • College of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas, NV
  • Cypress College in Cypress, CA
  • Dunwoody College of Technology in Minneapolis, MN
  • GateWay Community College in Phoenix, AZ
  • Greenville Technical College in Greenville, SC
  • Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY
  • Kennedy King College in Chicago, IL
  • Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) in Milwaukee, WI
  • Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Edmonton, AB
  • Oklahoma State University - Okmulgee in Okmulgee, OK
  • Springfield Technical Community College in Springfield, MA
