The Frick Engineered Control System (ECS) is a Windows r -based computerized industrial control system built on a truly open architecture. The Mistic industrial controller or Allen-Bradley PLC communicates with the supervisory Compaq PC over network cable. Serial communication links tie the microprocessor or Quantum control panels with the controller. Compressor status and other system information are graphically displayed and the compressor panel can be viewed and monitored without being at the unit. The system functions feature multilevel password and log-on capability; full compressor control panel access on the computer screen; full print reporting capability; alarming and ADT capability; and more. The system also utilizes data trending to report data in tabular and graphical forms; pinpoint problem sources; plan maintenance projects; increase system efficiency; and more.
