2011 Energy Efficiency Indicator Global Survey
The Institute conducted a survey of nearly 4,000 CEOs, CFOs, real estate executives, facility managers and engineers, and sustainability managers, which identified 5 key barriers to reaching energy efficiency goals. A great university emerges from a disastrous hurricane, with $71 million in energy savings. After Hurricane Katrina hit, Tulane University’s campus needed to revive more than 40 buildings, or students may never come back. In less than six months, an incredible 87 percent of the student population returned to an upgraded campus.
