MEET THE SPEAKERS:
Dave West, Sr. Director, Systems Engineering, Public Sector Segment
Dave West is the Director of Systems Engineering for Cisco Systems’ Public Sector organization. He leads a team of 400 engineers supporting Federal, State, and Local Government, Education, and the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community with the design and deployment of integrated end-to-end, enterprise network solutions. Mr. West’s primary role in this position is to support Public Sector customers by matching their business requirements to scale able, secure, resilient solutions.
Rick Martin, Network Alliances, North America, Network Integration Solutions
Rick is responsible for the management, development, and execution of Technology Contracts which provide the foundational infrastructure to meet and exceed the solution expectations of our clients. Nick has been with Johnson Controls for 5 years and has worked for 25 years in the network and healthcare informatics field with a focus on network design, implementation and management, etc. As the Network Alliances Manager for Network Integration Solutions, Mr. Martin will provide leadership and development of the foundational network infrastructure and strategic partners.
Kevin Kampschroer, Director, Office of High-Performance Green Buildings, GSA
Kevin is the Director of the Office of Federal High-Performance Green Buildings at the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). This new office within GSA has consolidated and is coordinating Federal efforts in the broad realm of building sustainability, acceleration of industry capability and adoption of sustainable principles across all aspects of asset creation, operation, maintenance and disposal. In response to the 2005 and 2007 Energy Bills & Executive Order on Federal Leadership in Environmental, Energy and Economic Performance, he has created the framework for which GSA responds to the challenges of greenhouse gas emissions reductions and of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act’s mandate to move GSA’s Federal building inventory toward high-performance green buildings.
