Making Energy Count
One of the biggest advantages to how businesses and organizations are looking at energy these days is the accountability factor. We’re much more able to measure energy use – and savings. That’s why those who work in smart environments pay attention to numbers more than ever.
But you’d never guess what these three figures have in common: 102. 57. 20.
- 102. That’s the number of floors in the Empire State Building – a Johnson Controls project that not only is reducing the skyscrapers’ energy use by more than a third but also is encouraging others to share its strategies.
- 57. That’s the percentage of executives surveyed in the Johnson Controls Energy Efficiency Indicator who said they expect to make energy-efficiency improvements in their facilities in the next year.
- 20. That’s how many years Johnson Controls and the U.S. Energy Association have held the Energy Efficiency Forum - which presidents, politicians and practitioners call the premier Washington DC event on the subject.
They all add up to some spectacular success stories. Click the links below to read more about these and other examples of why Efficiency Now has never been more important.
