Johnson Controls is proud to participate in the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen from December 7-18, 2009.

Since the foundation of our company in 1885 with the invention of the first electric room thermostat, we have considered ourselves stewards of our environment. The products we make and the services and solutions we deliver help make our customers’ businesses and operations more sustainable.

Buildings

  • We manage $1 billion of annual energy spend for our customers, and monitor 63 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions for 5,000 buildings in 88 countries. (read more)
