Johnson Controls encourages and supports its employees around the world to give their time, skills and energy to improve and strengthen the hundreds of communities we call home. In addition to benefiting the community, local volunteer activities also offer employees the opportunity to develop as leaders through community involvement. We also provide millions of dollars in contributions, as well as match employees' donations, in support of our communities.
In Milwaukee, home of our Corporate, Battery and Controls headquarters, Johnson Controls supports several employee programs that encourage community involvement.
Community Involvement Program
The Community Involvement Program is a collaborative employee effort to coordinate and support a diverse group of volunteers from all our Milwaukee locations, focused on strengthening our communities.
Cultural Awareness Committee
The Cultural Awareness Committee seeks to involve our Milwaukee Controls employees in the development and implementation of programs and communications that will increase cultural awareness at Johnson Controls.
Cultural Brainstormers Committee
The Cultural Awareness Brainstormers of Johnson Controls is a group of Battery and Corporate employees who strive to build diversity and cultural awareness on the Glendale campus. Their objective is to create a work environment that understands, values and respects diversity and cultural differences.
Young Professionals of Milwaukee
Johnson Controls professionals are invited to join Young Professionals of Milwaukee to develop leadership skills, build relationships with peers and local leaders, and to learn more about and contribute to the community.
