Sept. 5, 2016
Dear Valued Supplier,
We are excited to announce that the planned merger of Johnson Controls and Tyco was officially completed on Friday, Sept. 2.
The new Johnson Controls will be the global leader in building products and technology, integrated solutions and energy storage. The combined company will be able to offer a more comprehensive set of integrated product offerings and solutions to building owners globally because of Johnson Controls and Tyco’s highly complementary businesses.
To deliver this promise, we will further optimize our supply chain. Through this transition we are counting on you, our suppliers, to deliver seamless service while continuing to provide innovative solutions and economic value while adhering to high ethical ideals.
We expect that it may take several months to fully integrate the two companies so we will keep you informed of changes and decisions that may impact our supplier relationship. In the meantime, you should expect business to continue as usual. There will be no changes in our ordering, invoicing, and payment processes at this time.
This is a very exciting and historic time for us, and we look forward to working with you to pursue the many opportunities ahead. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your current representative.
