Johnson Controls’ Role on the Frontlines of the Pandemic in Wuhan
The unexpected nature of the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in demand for hospital capacities to be increased. More beds were required, and due to the easy transmission rates, it was also important to keep factors like HVAC ventilation and distancing in mind.
Johnson Controls offered its expertise at Wuhan Taikang Tongji Hospital in China. Our crisis response team began construction for a makeshift hospital which was prepared in the span of eight days, and our solutions have been implemented by other healthcare facilities as well.
