By allowing IP devices to communicate directly with the server, organizations can reduce infrastructure costs by up to 60% by eliminating the need for intermediary components – ultimately allowing deeper digitalization of assets and energy management and reporting.

In this city, families are warmed with carbon-neutral heat.
A large-scale heat pump at the Stuttgart-Münster combined heat and power plant in Germany is now supplying roughly 10,000 households with climate-neutral heat and reducing annual emissions by an estimated 15,000 tons of CO2e – the equivalent of over 3,100 cars off the road for a year. By converting previously unused waste heat into usable thermal energy, the project met the customer’s challenge to integrate a high-capacity heat pump into a complex, continuously operating site while delivering meaningful emissions reduction.

In this hospital, a life was saved.
Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital, one of Canada’s first smart hospitals, was designed to deliver advanced patient care while meeting ambitious sustainability targets. Integrated smart systems and IoT technology connect clinical and building operations through the Metasys® Building Automation System and the OpenBlue AI-powered suite. Together, these solutions delivered long-term operational efficiency and environmental performance, achieving an energy intensity 33% better than the local acute care median, including a 44% reduction in natural gas use and a 28% cut in GHG emissions. The systems also improved operations, reducing maintenance by 600 hours and manual troubleshooting by 4,000 hours in one year, while smart safety systems supported 1,500 days without a lost-time injury.
