APMEX is one of the nation’s largest online sources for investors looking to diversify their portfolios with gold, silver, platinum, and palladium. When the company moved their office to the site of the former Federal Reserve Bank of Oklahoma City, they decided to upgrade their existing surveillance and access control system.

To ensure comprehensive protection for its employees and inventory, APMEX was looking for state-of-the-art security, access control, and CCTV systems accessible remotely from a secure internet connection. But the former Federal Reserve building presented some unique challenges, including the need to drill and wire through three-foot-thick steel vault doors.

This case study shows how APMEX’s needs were met with exacqVision video management software along with Stardot cameras. Not only was the facility provided with a better security arrangement, but installation was accomplished on an aggressive three-week schedule.
