exacqVision Protects San Francisco’s Mission Miracle Mile

Problem

Mission Street is one of the oldest San Francisco shopping streets with a stretch known as the Mission Miracle Mile. Miracle Mile includes entertainment venues, retail stores, and restaurants. The Business Improvement District (BID) started an effort to improve the economic vitality of the Mission Miracle Mile district. To produce an environment where property owners, merchants, and visitors could feel comfortable and secure, the BID decided to install a surveillance system.

Solution

Integrator Applied Video Solutions installed 10 Axis IP cameras throughout the Mission Miracle Mile district. The camera views are pointed directly in areas historically known for crime and areas of property owners’ concern. Additionally, Applied Video Solutions installed an exacqVision A-Series IP server running exacqVision Professional video management system (VMS) software. The server’s enterprise-class hard drive ensures maximum reliability and speed.
