Johnson Controls named to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for 13th year
MILWAUKEE, Sept. 24, 2018 – Johnson Controls announced today its inclusion on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) for the 13th year.

Johnson Controls' vision is "a safe, comfortable and sustainable world." At Johnson Controls, we've been dedicated to sustainability and protecting the environment since our invention of the electric thermostat in 1885, which provided a fundamental shift in the energy efficiency of buildings. Now, all over the world, our products and services empower customers and communities to consume less energy and conserve resources.
“We promote economic, social and environmental practices that benefit our customers, employees, shareholders and communities,” said Grady Crosby, vice president public affairs and chief diversity officer, Johnson Controls. “We are proud to be included again in the DJSI, as it recognizes our efforts internally and across our value chain to hold ourselves accountable to our vision of a sustainable world.”
