Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Shauna Latshaw is Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Johnson Controls. In this role, she leads the company's enterprise technology strategy, with responsibility for systems and infrastructure, data that enables better and faster decisions, customer-facing digital tools and cybersecurity. She is focused on strengthening the digital capabilities that help accelerate growth, simplify work and improve outcomes for customers.

Shauna joined Johnson Controls in 2026 following more than 25 years of enterprise technology leadership across global industrial companies. Prior to joining the company, she served at Caterpillar, where she led Modern Manufacturing Digital & IT Platforms across 200 facilities worldwide, setting the technology backbone of every factory, and previously held the role of Group Chief Information Officer for the company's Energy & Transportation segment. In those roles, she helped advance enterprise technology strategy, modernize manufacturing operations and scale digital, data and artificial intelligence capabilities in support of business growth.

Earlier in her career, Shauna was a Senior Partner at IBM Consulting, advising global organizations on large-scale business transformation and operating model change. She also held technology leadership roles at Compass Group and Cardinal Health.

Shauna holds master's and bachelor's degrees in science from Ball State University.
