An Innovative HVAC Solution for Providence Tower

Share

Problem

Providence Tower is a 43-story, mixed-use building in the premium riverfront development of New Providence Wharf in the United Kingdom. A key factor in the successful completion of the project was ensuring construction stayed on time and on budget. To achieve this, contractor Briggs & Forrester (MEP) Ltd. looked to work with a building services partner that could guarantee a pipe jointing solution that ensures fast and efficient installation and helps overcome the construction challenges in multistory, multi-occupancy buildings.

Solution

A complete GRINNELL grooved mechanical solution from Johnson Controls was chosen to meet the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) needs of this landmark building. The GRINNELL team presented drawings and design calculations to demonstrate the capabilities of its grooved pipework solution for use in high-rise and high-end load situations. Individual elements in the range, including couplings, control valves and suction diffusers, combine to offer an innovative, robust and cost-effective total grooved pipework solution for optimal efficiency and superior quality.
