Johnson Controls leader named to Forbes China's "Women in Tech" list
Johnson Controls’ Cicci Xi is among the women leaders named to the Forbes China’s "Women in Tech” list for 2021.

Forbes China’s "Women in Tech” list program aims to recognizing benchmarks among Chinese women in technology, showcasing their extraordinary achievements and diversity, inclusion, and the tremendous drive and influence women bring to innovation in technology, sustainability and economic growth.
This year, there are 50 women recognized in the list. Johnson Controls’ Cicci Xi, Director Global Industrial Refrigeration Product & Technology, APAC, has been listed with 49 women leaders from prominent companies and organizations, including Amazon, Microsoft, L'Oreal, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, University of Science and Technology of China.
Cicci's leadership has helped produce ground-breaking innovations, and the achievements of her team have received widespread recognition internally and externally.
Cicci joined Johnson Controls in 1999 and has contributed to the development of the company in China for more than 20 years. She has grown from a technical engineer to a leader of Asia-pacific IR product technology. She currently leads a team with the mission to foster long-term regional development of industrial refrigeration products. Her leadership has helped produce ground-breaking innovations, and the achievements of her team have received widespread recognition internally and externally.
Cicci is the vice president, APAC, Women Global Network (WGN).She leads the community and works together with other leaders to drive diversity culture, foster team development and empower the SHE power leadership across the region.
List-making method
Only women actively involved in technology-centric companies or fields are included in the Forbes China list. The listed candidates must have an educational background in science, technology, engineering or mathematics. On this basis, candidates were selected for each category using three metrics: leadership (position in the company, field or industry), financial impact (company or product revenue, market size or size of funding) and general impact (impact in the specific context of each woman's field).
