Mexico, United States to form working teams for electricity reform

Johnson Controls joined U.S. Special Envoy John Kerry, U.S. ambassador to Mexico Ken Salazar and other U.S. companies to meet with the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, and other top Mexican government officials on March 31, 2022, to exchange views about the energy sector and the critical need for a transformation towards clean and reliable energy.

Katie McGinty, Chief Sustainability & External Relations Officer at Johnson Controls, called for the private and public sector to work together, and boost renewables as part of Mexico`s energy strategy to reach global sustainability goals.
