Clearwater Casino Resort Forges a New Path for Casino Monitoring
Suquamish Clearwater Resort, a popular vacation destination located on the Port Madison Indian Reservation in the state of Washington, wanted to upgrade its security surveillance system from an analog to a digital system and to alleviate the problem of limited space in its surveillance and equipment rooms.
This case study shows how the Intellex Digital Video Management System from American Dynamics allowed the casino to replace a traditional hardware matrix with a virtual one. With the Intellex system, less hardware is necessary—its footprint is a third the size of other systems. The system also allows the casino to plan a path for moving from analog to digital cameras since the Intellex system allows for easy integration with both types of cameras. Perhaps most important, the new solution allows casino staff to be more efficient and effective.
