MILWAUKEE (June 26, 2018) — Johnson Controls will lead thought-provoking sessions and showcase smart stadium solutions at the 2018 National Sports Safety and Security Conference and Exhibition, presented by the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4), in Louisville, Kentucky, from July 9 through July 12, 2018. Enhancing Situational Awareness through Smarter Sports & Entertainment Venues
Tuesday, July 10 at 9:30 a.m. ET
Brian Young, chief commercial officer at Johnson Controls, will deliver a keynote on how broadening customers’ views beyond individual security systems to create an enterprise-wide view of their venue can not only make venues safer and more secure, but also smarter, increasing fan engagement and satisfaction, and improving operational efficiency. He will share examples of solutions and processes that have helped Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium at The Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village become a smart stadium that’s connected, safe and secure.

Situational Awareness and Technology Fusion Breakout Sessions
Wednesday, July 11 from 9 – 10 a.m. ET and 10 – 11 a.m. ET
Jim Nannini, vice president of building wide systems integration, Building Solutions, North America at Johnson Controls, will cover how to integrate information from multiple technology sources with human input for effective decision making and response management. Additional session participants include:

Johnson Controls will showcase at booth #129 the extended solutions and combined capabilities that are the result of its integration with Tyco, allowing them to deliver a safer, smarter, more comfortable and connected venue. Visitors to the booth will have the chance to discover the benefits of integrating facility-wide systems and taking an enterprise-wide view of venues.

In addition to his keynote, Young will receive the Sports Security Innovator Award, presented by Security Industry Association (SIA) on Wednesday, July 11 at 11 a.m. The award is presented to a member of SIA who has demonstrated innovation by developing next-generation solutions to sports safety and security challenges.
