Despite having 10x more computing power compared to the a typical hyperscale data center, our client was looking to increase its processing power. As this data center is critical our client’s global data center network, there was a requirement to enhance security capabilities and protection.

Having used Johnson Controls C•CURE access control system for 15 years, data center leaders selected this powerful system to provide 24x7 security and safety protection. The Johnson Controls team got to work to quickly implement access control, video, and perimeter protection on the property.

As a top data center, there is always a risk when building new infrastructure. A loss in data processing power while the new facility is constructed could result in a loss of millions of dollars per day for the data center provider. Understanding the value of quick installation, Johnson Controls placed a project manager and a team of three engineers on site from day one to oversee the project. With this strategy in place, the team ensured installations exceeded deadline expectations, which proved very valuable to data center leaders.
