World Economic Forum’s (WEF) annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland, Jan. 15 - 19, 2024.
George Oliver, Chairman and CEO and Katie McGinty, Chief Sustainability Officer, are joining other world leaders where they will actively participate in discussions under the key theme of ‘Rebuilding Trust.’
The 54th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum will provide a crucial space to focus on the fundamental principles driving trust, including transparency, consistency and accountability.
This Annual Meeting will welcome over 100 governments, all major international organizations, 1000 Forum’s Partners, as well as civil society leaders, experts, youth representatives, social entrepreneurs, and news outlets.
As part of the 2022 WEF Forum, George Oliver participated in a panel on “Raising the Bar for Responsible & Social Procurement”. Joining George on panel was Ezgi Barcenas, Chief Sustainability Officer, Anheuser-Busch InBev NV; Nicola Galombik, Executive Director, Yellowwoods Holdings Sarl and Michael Süss, Chairman, OC Oerlikon Management AG. Together they explored how social procurement is a key lever to drive supply chain resiliency, whilst maximizing sustainability & impact across all ESGs.
